The CCLC is strongly committed to providing a high quality early learning and care program, where the needs of both the children and the families are met. Learning experiences to enhance children’s social, physical, emotional and intellectual development are provided on a daily basis.  We encourage children to embrace the richness and diversity of our society in an environment where all children feel valued and respected for who they are, respect those around them and develop a sense of social and moral responsibility in our community. 

The Child Care and Learning Centre offers two distinct program areas based on the ages of the enrolled children. Each program occupies a distinctive area in the CCLC and each program area is further divided into smaller playrooms:

• Toddler Program – Maple Room, Cedar Room, Mulberry Room and Aspen Room
• Preschool Program – Tamarack Room, Oak Room, Birch Room and Willow Room

Staffing in each program is determined by licensing requirements under the Child Care and Early Years Act and is implemented as identified in the following table:
